The alarm on Justin's phone startled him from his uncomfortable sleep. The babies had woken him up a few hours before, just like every morning the past 40 weeks. In fact, ever since him and his roommate joined their teacher's fertility study, the babies have been consistently becoming more and more of a hassle. "They're growing abnormally fast, but incredibly healthy" was the word of choice from the professor. Now, at 40 weeks with two 11 pound boys, he was looking forward to the call to let them know they can come in to have them out.
"Okay guys, big day" Justin sighed as he heaved his womb to the edge of his bed. He let the belly settle painfully in to his thighs, forcing his legs far apart. Huffing, he reached for his phone. Scott didn't remember much about falling, just about how much it hurt when he landed. Truly, the worst thing about it was that he had broken his left wing, and he was with child, due at any moment. He couldn't even hide his wings from human sight because of his injuries, unable to heal himself because of the exertion of falling from Heaven. The doctor held the wand over Justin's overly stretched twin belly. At 40 weeks, he and Molly had gone in to their doctor to see about the babies' progress. The twins, each 10 lbs already, were a few weeks late for being this big. And since the two young lovers had signed up for the experimental fertility study, they wanted to make sure everything was still ok.
"Well Justin, it looks like you've got two big, stubborn boys in there... with the contract you both signed unfortunately we will need to wait for labor to begin naturally, we don't want any complications from bringing inducing medications in to the mix." The doctor feels across Justin's overly packed womb. "What puzzles me slightly is how neither one has moved in to position. I know I said it might delay their birth, but they should start to drop within the next few days.
"Thanks Doc" Justin sighed with relief. He had been having nightmares about growing so big he literally exploded, with Molly assuring him that they would not let that happen.
The doctor nodded and slid his chair over to Molly, Justin's wife. Both of them were incredibly young, (19 going on 20) from a small town, so doing the study provided them with the monetary boost they needed to start a life. The only stipulation is that Molly was ALSO ready to burst with her own set of twins, 40 weeks and in the same boat as Justin, both her little ones stubborn and high.

Zone 8 was military base it was fairly new compared to some of the others. It was put together right before the invasion. An Alien species invaded earth in hopes of taking it over, the world broke out into a war. Most of the population had died as a result but they were still fighting 3 years latter humans were still struggling to hold there ground developing new weapons against the aliens.
